the first one is Stintson beach, California
A place I stumbled upon with friends...serene, gorgeous, and full of adventure.

the second is Seattle, Washington
Which is an exquisite place of culture and fantastic things to see, do, and hear.

the third is of some lovely rolling oregon hills shot on my way up to Washington...I was hoping to roll down them or at least feel them, they look so lush and soft...maybe next trip.

the fourth is where I long to visit and possibly live someday, Iceland.

Ally > big sur, ca.

big sur, ca. camping on the beach is the most wonderful experience. at the risk of sounding cheesy, i'd say that all the elements of big sur [the ocean, the air, the trees] actually move me.

Ellen > where the mountains meet the sea in Big Sur, California

The loveliest place on my planet is where the mountains meet the sea in Big Sur, California. Wherever I am in the world, my heart keeps coming back to that place when I think about peace and beauty. It's just the place on the planet where I feel most at home. This is a photo from the last time I visited there (no sea in the photo, but trust me, it's behind you when you're looking at the mountains...).
